Jemeah T. Scott is a multimedia fine artist who utilized craft to express her inner world and cultural musings related to existentialism, the confines of the body, and the illusory metrics of identity and perception, assessing wakefulness through ever-developing visual mythologies. Her current fixations pull on textures, diverse features, dynamic shading, and spectral emotion while meshing form with scenery, showcasing a search for the body at home with the natural world. Her graphite works welcome a reconciliation of the cellular, an imaginative enmeshment of terrain and flesh.
