WELCOME TO MY PRINT COLLECTION
I see this collection as a developing story, a reference point of imagery and textures, a way to map out an understanding of the body in an inventive context. To me, surrealist portraiture is like sculpting dimensionally the way you would mold a form with clay, like an intuitive attempt to map out the way a person can look in all relationships to shape. I want to move the body to fit beyond physicality and create a narrative —visually and poetically — that speaks to wistfulness.
This project is an attempt to craft a soul on paper. This is a developing visual mythology.
